Russell's Reserve® Whiskies Take on an Impressive New Look

Russell's ReservePurchase, NY (September 2, 2008) – Wild Turkey® Master Distiller Jimmy Russell and his son, Associate Distiller Eddie Russell unveiled a handsome and impressive new look for their hand-crafted Russell’s Reserve Bourbon and Russell’s Reserve Rye products, both recognized by whiskey aficionados and industry experts as exceptional small batch whiskies.

“Eddie and I are very proud of the Russell’s Reserve products,” said Jimmy Russell, Master Distiller.  “Together, we bring over 80 years of combined experience to the table to painstakingly craft these uniquely smooth and rich bourbon and rye whiskies.  It is only fitting that the packaging for these exclusive small batch products accurately communicates the quality of the product in the bottle.”

Russell’s Reserve’s new packaging will debut in November, 2008, in time for the critical holiday selling season.  The handsome new look more clearly communicates the products age and small batch craftsmanship.  A visible wood cork and parchment label that is reverse screen printed to tell the story of legendary bourbon makers Jimmy and Eddie Russell, help to further convey quality and heritage.  Every bottle will be shipped with a neck hanger that also tells their story as well as tasting notes for their handcrafted whiskies.  The brand names, Russell’s Reserve and Russell’s Reserve Rye, are screen printed on the bottle above the parchment label allowing more light to shine through highlighting the beautiful color of the whiskies.
